Heritage Cremation & Burial Society was established in 1995 by Ohio Licensed Funeral Director John M. Falk as an independent alternative to traditional funeral homes. The organization positions itself specifically as a "simple cremation and simple burial company," deliberately avoiding the merchandise-heavy approach of conventional funeral homes. With two Family Care Centers & Crematories in Greater Cleveland and Greater Canton, plus five additional arrangement offices in Independence, Westlake, Akron, Beachwood, and Mahoning Valley, Heritage maintains a distributed service model designed for geographic convenience. Their service area spans from Cambridge to Ashland and Cleveland to Youngstown, with 24-hour availability 365 days per year.
