The Snow family has served Macon since 1942, when William A. Snow Jr. purchased what was then Burgard Funeral Furnishings (founded 1892) and renamed it Memorial Chapel. The business became Snow's Memorial Chapel in 1979 under William A. Snow III, who managed it until his death in February 2020. His wife Jean Snow remains active in the business, while William A. Snow IV oversees operations across three Snow's locations plus Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home and Cemetery.
Today the funeral home operates as part of the Dignity Memorial network, offering families access to standardized service guarantees, national resources, and local personalization.
