Hamilton-Mylan Funeral Home, Inc.

Hamilton-Mylan Funeral Home operates from one of Vancouver's most distinctive funeral facilities—a building constructed as a private residence in 1853 and converted to funeral service use in 1917. The funeral chapel was added during the 1920s, creating the first on-site service capability at this location. The business has survived multiple ownership transitions and name changes throughout its long history, including a merger with Knapp Funeral Home in 1966 and later partnership with John Gunderson, before simplifying to its current name.

David Fuller purchased Hamilton-Mylan Funeral Home, Inc. in 1985 and remains the owner today. The funeral home maintains its original downtown Vancouver location at 302 W. 11th Street, continuing to serve families from the same historic building that has housed funeral operations for over a century.
