Strickland's journey began at age 16 when he took a job transferring deceased individuals to funeral homes—a role that revealed his calling to support grieving families.
After more than 20 years of industry experience, Strickland partnered with Geoffrey Gehring, a Virginia Beach native and master plumber/pipefitter, to establish the family-owned business. The funeral home operates with a people-first philosophy, emphasizing affordable, personalized, and compassionate care. The facility serves families throughout the Virginia Beach area with a focus on removing administrative burdens during difficult times.
