Horrific experience. Vangie was very unsympathetic, money focused and said things that no one should ever be told.

Peninsula Memorial Park occupies 100 acres of high rolling terrain in Newport News, Virginia, distinguished by stately trees and the seasonal color changes characteristic of the Virginia Peninsula. The property opened on April 23, 1932, with the placement of the cornerstone for its Tower of Memories Chapel—marking the first such structure on the Virginia Peninsula. The chapel's architecture reflects the rich colonial traditions of the region.
The Tower of Memories houses one of the few remaining Deagan Chime Systems still operating in a North American cemetery. In 1992, the tower and its chimes underwent complete renovation, with pews added to accommodate intimate committal services. The original 17-acre property has expanded to its current 100 acres, now including mausoleum complexes and multiple memorial gardens.
The cemetery maintains an affiliation with Parklawn-Wood Funeral Home in nearby Hampton, Virginia, to provide coordinated funeral and cemetery services for families throughout the Hampton Roads area.

Our family is grateful for the assistance Penninsula Memorial provided during this difficult time.
Vangie is the most caring person, and she was exactly what I needed to help me make funeral decisions after my beloved soulmate passed away. She understood the magnitude of my loss, comforted me, and truly listened.
Vangie was very helpful and considerate. We weren't sure what we wanted but after Vangie explained the options and showed us around, everything became very clear.
Peninsula Memorial Park is Blessed to have Vangie on their care team. She made our difficult time after losing our Mom much more bearable. She guided us with care and understanding as we prepared to lay Mom at rest.Thank you Vangie.
