Lake Ridge Chapel and Memorial Designers opened in 2007 under founder Santos Moreno, a Dallas Institute of Funeral Services graduate who apprenticed under Whit Victory at Rix Funeral Home before establishing his own operation. The southwest Lubbock facility was designed from the ground up to blend traditional funeral ceremonies with modern amenities, featuring top-of-the-line video and sound systems throughout. Moreno's vision emphasized innovative offerings uncommon in the area at the time, including dove releases, catered visitations, and structured group grief support programs. The location serves families across 17 West Texas communities from Abernathy to Wolfforth.
