The Claybar story began in 1946 when Ambrose Claybar converted a residence in Orange into a funeral home; his brother Lannie joined after World War II, and together with Lannie's wife Marjorie Brown, they built the foundation of the region's leading funeral service provider.
The Beaumont location became part of the Claybar family during the 1980s expansion under Brown Claybar's leadership. Today, Warren Claybar serves as President, representing the third generation of family leadership since 2007.
