I worked with Tazzney who did an amazing job of attending to all the details of my mom’s burial and final arrangements. She was caring and compassionate and had great attention to detail. I appreciate all she did to serve our family.

The cemetery offers three covered outdoor committal shelters (30 guests each) and a climate-controlled indoor mausoleum chapel seating approximately 60. The mausoleum features bronze front doors, imported marble corridors, ornate stained-glass windows, and a fountain. The Colonnades outdoor mausoleum, built in the 1950s and updated in 2010, provides sweeping Pacific Northwest views. The expanded Maplewood Cremation Garden includes columbaria, cremation benches, and niches. Imperial Garden, dedicated to Chinese and Vietnamese populations, offers panoramic cemetery views.
Services emphasize personalization, with staff designing tributes incorporating specific elements meaningful to the deceased—from bagpipes to convertibles to cultural rituals including feng shui design, incense burning, ritual washing, and kosher catering.
Lincoln Memorial Park & Funeral Home has served Portland families since 1906, operating from a 430-acre hillside property on Mount Scott with views of downtown Portland. The recently remodeled 15,000-square-foot funeral home sits adjacent to the historic cemetery, allowing families to coordinate funeral services, cremation, and burial without leaving the grounds. Located 10 miles southeast of downtown and 20 minutes from Portland International Airport, the facility combines modern amenities with a pastoral setting of century-old trees and rolling hills.
The property originally opened as Mount Scott Park Cemetery in 1906, with a stone administrative building that later appeared in the TV series "Grimm." A crematory was added in 1914, followed by a mausoleum in 1926 when the cemetery was renamed Lincoln Memorial Park. The funeral home opened in 1992, creating an integrated campus for end-of-life services. Today the cemetery features deer and geese habitats, annual blooming gardens, and multiple water features across its expansive grounds.
