The 85-acre cemetery features landscaped gardens, a columbarium, private and community mausoleums (indoor and outdoor), and family estate areas. The Gethsemane mausoleum offers both interior and exterior niches, while the Devotion Columbarium provides permanent placement for cremated remains. Cemetery grounds are open sunrise to sunset.
Chapel Hill offers complete funeral planning without requiring a funeral home visit, including electronic signature processing. Their event planning services extend to coordinating visitations at private residences and arranging police escorts when needed.
Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens began in 1946 as a small office surrounded by wheat fields on what is now Northwest Expressway in Oklahoma City. Some 50 years later, Chapel Hill Funeral Home opened in the former Shook Memorial United Methodist Church building, creating a combined funeral home and cemetery operation that has served the Oklahoma City area for nearly 80 years.
Today, the property encompasses approximately 85 acres with 10 individual memorial gardens, a full-service funeral home, and multiple indoor and outdoor gathering spaces.
