Bill Eisenhour Funeral Home at Sunny Lane Cemetery occupies a site with roots extending to the 1889 Oklahoma land run, when John George donated an acre for a church and Jack Moore donated adjacent land for a cemetery. Less than one week after the land run, Sunny Lane Church and Cemetery became one of the first churches established in Oklahoma. In 1924, Sunny Lane Cemetery was formally established, and the original cemetery grounds remain visible today.
Located at 4000 SE 29th Street in Del City, just east of Oklahoma City, the funeral home serves communities from Moore to Edmond and beyond. The chapel holds distinction as one of the first built in Oklahoma. The property includes a new Community Reception Center available for family gatherings and non-profit community events.

The individual who helped us was very professional, patient and very attentive to our needs for our final resting place and consideration of our financial requirements. This individual is an asset to Dignity and highly recommended for future questions regarding final decisions.
Angie is very condescending and always acts like she doesn’t know anything. Once you’ve paid for the initial burial services they couldn’t care less about anything else. I wanted to like this place I really did but they’ve made it very unwelcoming for me!
As always, a pleasant experience. They have buried my mother, my step-father, my grandparents, my sister, my brother, and already arranged for my aunt, uncle, and father. No, they don't offer frequent flyer miles.
Elizabeth made the process of planning my dad’s funeral service so easy. She was so kind and took care of so many “little” things for us. She worked seamlessly with the cemetery to make everything go as planned.
