Mihovk-Rosenacker Funeral Home traces its roots to the late 1800s when Charles H. Dhonau became one of Cincinnati's first liverymen to enter the funeral service profession. He opened his first funeral home in 1906, serving Northside families. The business evolved through the Dhonau and Rosenacker families before becoming Mihovk-Rosenacker in 1987, reflecting the current leadership of Robert D. Mihovk, who joined in 1976.
Today, the funeral home operates two locations serving distinct areas of Greater Cincinnati. The White Oak/Monfort Heights facility at 5527 Cheviot Road was founded in 1953 and underwent extensive remodeling in 1990 that more than doubled its original size. The Evendale/Blue Ash location at 10211 Plainfield Road sits on the grounds of Rest Haven Memorial Park and features a formal chapel with pews seating 140 people plus two community rooms for post-service gatherings.
