Coble Funeral & Cremation Service at Greenlawn Memorial Park opened in spring 2020 as a purpose-built, state-of-the-art facility—the first in the Wilmington area to combine funeral home, crematory, and cemetery services in a single location. The building replaced the previous Oleander Drive location and sits directly on the grounds of Greenlawn Memorial Park, established in 1948 by the founding family as a series of biblical gardens.

The chapel-to-graveside walkability eliminates the need for guests to drive between service locations—a practical convenience the previous generation of funeral homes could not offer. The building's design emphasizes flexibility: the chapel converts from traditional rows to reception rounds, with exposed rustic beams and high ceilings accommodating hundreds of guests.
