Palmer Bush & Jensen Family Funeral Homes traces its roots to 1926, when Thomas R. Palmer purchased a part interest in the O'Donnell Funeral Home on North Washington Street in Lansing. The firm became Palmer Bush Funeral Home in 1939 when Lloyd H. Bush acquired the remaining interest, and ownership has since passed through the Bush family to Allen & Susan Jensen, and now to John Vatter & Sarah Jensen-Vatter.
The Delta Chapel at 6301 W. St. Joe Hwy. represents the firm's expansion beyond its original downtown location.
