Ridge Funeral Home traces its roots to 1940, when Florian Ciesla and his father first established the business on 18th and Cullerton in Chicago. The operation relocated to its current West Archer Avenue location in 1962, constructing the purpose-built facility that serves the Garfield Ridge community today. Following Florian Ciesla's retirement in 1972, Edward Tylka assumed management in 1995 and continues to oversee operations.
