Corey-Kerlin Funeral Home has served Jacksonville families since 1963, when founders George S. Corey Jr. and William W. Kerlin opened their first location on Rowe Avenue. The operation expanded to its current Cesery Boulevard location in 1973, and a crematory was added in 1983. After six decades of independent operation, the funeral home joined the Dignity Memorial network in 2024 while maintaining its single Jacksonville location following the 2023 closure of the original Rowe Avenue facility.
