Neptune Memorial Reef operates from Fort Lauderdale while managing an artificial reef memorial site located 3.25 miles east of Key Biscayne, just off the coast of Miami, Florida. The reef is designed as an artistic interpretation of the Lost City of Atlantis, functioning as both an ecological habitat and a final resting place for those who choose cremation. Families work with the Neptune team to have ashes incorporated into memorial sculptures that are then deployed to the reef site, with the placement process documented through video and photography. The operation partners with local dive charter operations for family visitations and coordinates with Divers Paradise for SCUBA certification and private excursions to the memorial site.
