Services
Pricing is presented as all-inclusive within stated parameters, with explicit disclosure of excluded items: urns (except basic plastic in base package), caskets/alternative containers, permits, and DCA fees. Additional charges apply for coroner transfers, residence removals (requires second attendant), transportation beyond radius, and oversized cremation. Payment is required before cremation proceeds.
The property combines a cremation center with an on-site cemetery dedicated exclusively to cremated remains. The physical plant includes the Traditional Chapelâdescribed as the largest in the San Bernardino Valleyâalong with the Garden Pavilion for outdoor services. Cemetery grounds feature landscaped gardens, trellised walkways, shaded seating areas, and multiple burial sections ranging from shared markers to semi-private garden courtyards. An adjoining outdoor courtyard with refreshment room serves chapel events. Ample parking and wheelchair accessibility are noted, with proximity to both the 10 and 215 freeways.
Service philosophy emphasizes transparent, itemized pricing without hidden fees. The facility does not upsell urnsâfamilies may supply their own, though a transfer fee applies. Cremation typically occurs within 10 working days after payment, signed death certificate, and completed documentation.
Tradition Cremation Center & Cemetery operates as a family-owned, cremation-focused facility at 562 S. I Street, just off the 215 Freeway near the Mill Street exit. The business brings together more than 100 years of accumulated industry experience, with staff positioning themselves as dedicated exclusively to cremation services rather than traditional burial operations.
The facility distinguishes itself through co-location with Preciado Funeral Home, providing access to what the company describes as the largest funeral chapel in the San Bernardino Valley. This arrangement allows families to hold substantial gatheringsâup to 300 guestsâwhile maintaining the streamlined, single-location process that cremation-focused operations typically offer. All arrangements and return of cremated remains occur at one location.
Geographic coverage spans the broader Inland Empire, with explicit service to San Bernardino, Riverside, Bloomington, Colton, Fontana, Grand Terrace, Loma Linda, Moreno Valley, Redlands, and Rialto. The facility holds California Funeral Director License #2127 and Cemetery Authority License #638.

We had a great experience with Traditional Creamation service. The price was great, the customer service was great. They were very kind. I wouldgo therebagain.
I can not say enough. The handling of the passing of my mom and best friend is one of the worst periods in my life but they made it less so. I appreciated their kindness and patience. They were gentle and did not try to upsell us.
Thank you Eddie for being very polite, informative and thoughtful. We also appreciate that you didn't try to sell us on any additional urn's. We both thank you for the ash transfer of my mom's remains into the urn's we brought you. đâ¤ď¸đAmy Bertrand and Tony P.
