North Sacramento Funeral Home, Inc. traces its roots to 1935, when it opened as the only funeral home north of the American River. The Morgan family—Henry and Rita—purchased the business in August 1974, establishing a multi-generational legacy that continues today under Christopher and Sarah Morgan. The funeral home has evolved significantly over its nearly nine-decade history, most notably with a major 2004 expansion that added a 250-seat chapel, two visitation rooms, and full accessibility upgrades. Their 1981 crematory installation made them one of Sacramento's first funeral homes to own and operate cremation facilities on-site.
