Services
The original 37.5-acre property features landscaped lawns, mature shade trees, and bird habitat throughout. The restored historic Holly Oak Lane offers a dedicated walking area. The 1936 mausoleum houses restored stained glass windows, hand-painted murals, finely crafted woodwork, fine art pieces, a library, and imported Italian marble finishes. Main office operates by appointment only Monday through Saturday.
Loma Vista Mortuary provides complete mortuary services for both burial and cremation, maintaining the cemetery's commitment to family-directed care established over 110 years.
Loma Vista Memorial Park anchors Fullerton's memorial landscape as the area's longest continuously operating cemetery, established in 1914 when founders Argus Brutus Adams and Emanuel Smith purchased 37.5 acres from the Bastanchury family for $15,000. The property has remained under Adams family ownership for four generations, with Kurt Adams assuming the presidency after his father Richard's 47-year tenure beginning in 1975.
The cemetery has evolved substantially from its rural origins. Five cremation chambers now operate on the premises, with over 45,000 cremations performed to date. In 1991, the family expanded into mortuary services through West Coast Cremation, Inc., which later became Loma Vista Mortuary to provide complete funeral and cremation services under the same ownership.
The grounds encompass restored historic sections including Holly Oak Lane, maintained by a five-person grounds crew with over 20 years of institutional knowledge led by Superintendent Adrian Poblete.
