Ruebel Funeral Home traces its origins to early 1901, when it opened on the corner of Sixth and Main Street in downtown Little Rock. For over a hundred years, the establishment has served central Arkansas families across all religious preferences, races, and socioeconomic circumstances. The Wittenberg family assumed leadership in 1953 and continues to guide operations today, with Thomas Wittenberg serving as Chairman and Justin Wittenberg as President and Manager.
The funeral home relocated to its current address at 6313 West Markham Street, positioned one half mile west of the Markham Street and University Avenue intersection, directly across from Park Plaza Mall and US Bank. The facility sits atop a hill on the south side of Markham Street, offering a prominent and accessible location for families throughout the region.
